Thorsten knows all about the complexity of e-commerce processes and organizations, as he himself was part of the network of full-service outsourcing for several global brands in the fashion industry for many years. The speed that is essential for doing business online does not scare him; in fact, he is totally open to (dirty) workarounds whenever they are appropriate. However, he also knows that sustainable strategies can only be achieved with a steady hand and a certain level of endurance. With this side of his personality, Thorsten helps our clients stay their strategic course in their daily business despite hectic schedules and tight deadlines.

Thorsten has been a director at eccelerate since early 2014. 

Before that, he spent six years in Hamburg as Head of Business Development, Partner Management, and Marketing for Netrada, one of the world’s largest e-commerce service providers. He spent six years prior to that assignment learning the consulting business from the bottom up at two international strategy consultancies in different industries.


Thorsten holds Master degrees in European studies, politics, and humanities and social sciences from Universities Osnabrück and Hull (UK).

When he’s not working, his two small children, wife, and garden near Hamburg keep him on his toes. The hobby guitarist enjoys karate, Britpop, and travelling in his spare time.
